For Spring 2012, Genetic Denim nods to its roots by updating the very qualities it was founded on and has come to be synonymous with: fit, fabrication and individuality. Creative Director, Ali Fatourechi, delivers designs that remain true to his original denim customer, while simultaneously reflecting an innovative approach to the fabrication for future generations of denim aficionados. 

This season, Genetic Denim is excited to introduce “The Shane,” a superskinny, faux-front, cigarette women’s jean favored among Hollywood sirens, in a new and exclusive Silk Denim fabrication. The soft hand of the silk spandex blend lends to an unparalleled comfort, without sacrificing the look of denim.  

The new Silk Denim fabrication is significantly lighter and more flexible than its denim predecessors, yet follows the contours of one’s body, maintaining the recovery and sophisticated fit that Genetic Denim is known and loved for. “The Shane” is available as a full-length or cropped cigarette in six different washes, ranging from neon hues, to neutrals and classic denim washes.

The spring 2012 collection has a jean for everyone and offers the latest trends and styles in product categories that include women’s jeans, men’s jeans, denim shorts and hot pants.
